Knobs
Volume
The main how-loud knob for the whole machine. Turn it up for more level going to your amp, down for less.
tip: Because the FR-1 outputs a fairly low, uneven level, set this near maximum and control final loudness at your amp or mixer — you'll get a cleaner, hiss-free signal.

Tempo
This is the speed dial. Turn it up and the beat plays faster; turn it down and it slows to a crawl.

Balance

First session: get a sound out of it
- 01Plug the rear output jack into a keyboard amp, powered speaker, or mixer channel with a suitable cable. Keep the amp volume low for now.

How the sound flows
